Croatia 2024 & 2025
“With a tour of Croatia through the south of the country, you can expect many encounters with a fascinating country from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. The sea is your constant companion during your journey from Kvarner Bay and is never more than a few kilometres away. In front of you are more than 1,000 islands, of which only 50 are inhabited. When I think of Croatia, I feel the warm rays of sunshine, the soft breeze and the sight of small, white boats bobbing on the turquoise-blue Adriatic. During my last visit, I naturally visited many small places in Dalmatia and brought back exciting stories – for you too. You can also experience these places and stories – either in a hire car or in your own car.”
By the way: your tour of Croatia can start at home. Depending on where you are departing from, we will also plan and organise the route and your accommodation in the transit countries up to your destination.

Croatia's cultural diversity
Experience culture and history at every turn on our customised Croatia tours. The rule of various people has left visible traces that are reflected in the language, architecture, gastronomy and festivals. Classical concerts in Dubrovnik or in the Euphrasian Basilica in Poreč, open-air events in the Roman Arena in Pula, colourful carnival parades in Opatija and Rijeka, traditional festivals with traditional costumes, klapa singing and folk dances such as the Moreška on the island of Korčula or the Kolo, which is danced differently in every region… They prove one thing above all: partying is very important in Croatia.
Experience a journey through art history at the Mimara Museum in Zagreb and relive history at the Diocletian’s Palace in Split, the Amphitheatre in Pula, the Roman Forum in Zadar or the historic old town of Trogir.
Croatia's treasures of nature
Croatia’s nature is also rich in contrast and diverse. More than 1,000 offshore islands with rocky beaches and sandy shores and a fantastically rugged Adriatic coastline with Mediterranean flora characterise Croatia’s seaside face. Behind it lie juicy green forests, numerous lakes and rivers, such as the Plitvice Lakes and the waterfalls formed by the Krka River. Fertile lowlands are also home to fascinating flora and fauna.
Croatia also has a lot to offer for hikers interested in culinary delights. On hikes through the truffle-rich region of Istria, you can enjoy not only fresh fish and seafood, but also dishes with fine mushrooms and other regional specialities. Delicious game dishes will tantalise your taste buds on hikes in the hinterland.
Croatia culinary treasures
No question: Croatian cuisine is meat-heavy and not very delicate. Rustic, traditional recipes still characterise the everyday lives of many families and restaurant menus. Meat, vegetables, potatoes, olive oil and herbs are on the menu. Only on the coast are fish and seafood common. Sounds a bit too simple? But it tastes great.
Croatians particularly love dishes from the peka: the ingredients simmer for several hours in this cast-iron pot. Take a look at the lid and let yourself be seduced by the aroma – and the butter-tender meat.
Croatia authentic and up close
Of course, you can also book guided tours of the most famous cities and culturally significant sites on our Croatia tours. However, our programme goes far beyond this, because we want you to get to know and understand the country and its people better. That’s why we offer experiences that give you a glimpse behind the scenes.
For example, enjoy Croatia and the Adriatic Sea for a few days from the sea during a sailing trip with one of our experienced skippers.
Culinary experiences and tastings give you an insight into the specialities of Croatian cuisine. For example, would you like to find out more about the Croatian grape variety used for the popular Zinfandel? Or would you like to learn how the tasty meat or fish dishes are cooked under the dome-shaped baking bell, the peka, and which ingredients are used? Then we’ll make sure you get all your questions answered.
